Don’t give up

Don’t give up

With everything the way it is right now, many people are feeling desperate and don’t want to be here anymore. That might be you who is reading this right now.

You may be feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with your situation. Things might look bleak, and it seems like there is no way out. And if ending it seems like your only way out, please hang on. Don’t give up.

You may think no one cares and nobody can help you. But God cares, and Jesus can help you. Whether you believe in Him or not, God is real. He created you, and ‘God is near the broken hearted and those of a contrite spirit’ (Psalm 34:18 NKJV).

The Bible says, ‘That whoever calls on the name of Lord will be saved’ (Acts 2:21). Cry out to Jesus. Tell Him your problems. Ask Jesus to deliver you from the suicidal thoughts. Then ask Him to save you. No problem is too big for God. It may sound crazy, but what have you got to lose? Nothing as valuable as your life.

You must also be willing to repent, which means to change and turn away from sin (sinful behaviour), and ask God for forgiveness. This is most important.

Jesus loves you and he can save you. . Just try speaking to Hims. And remember, you are precious, and your life is of value. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28: ‘Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’
